About our Mobile Discos and DJs
We have 15 wedding DJs all under 40! Each has a wealth of knowledge and experience of different styles of music, from the 1940s to the current charts. Not only does each one have a vast and varied music collection, but that essential skill and experience – the ability to read the crowd and play the right tracks to create the party atmosphere and keep people dancing.
Pop, Rock, Soul, R&B, Swing, Disco, Funk, Indie, Dance, Motown, Ska, Punk & Reggae are just some of the popular styles we're asked for and will have with us for your reception.
How the evening reception might run
We usually start with light background music, whilst your evening guests arrive, slowly building up the tempo ahead of your all important first dance. Your DJ will also be able to build up to this moment with appropriate announcements, so that all your guests are ready to witness this special moment and join you on the dance floor afterwards, or half way through if you'd prefer!
From then on, your DJ will judge the mood and energy and play appropriate music to keep people dancing. This will include fitting in your specific requests, as well as those from your guests. If you have any other key moments, such as the cutting of the wedding cake or the departure of the Bride & Groom, then your DJ can announce this and play any specific music you'd like to accompany the moment.

LED Uplighters are a very effective method to introduce colour to your wedding. Using a combination of RED, GREEN and BLUE they can produce an amazing spectrum of colours, from white to deep purple.
Uplighters are generally used on the floor and point up a wall or across other surfaces to change the colour of the wall or surface. They can be managed individually, as a set, or any combination in-between. For ambience, they can all be set to a low level shaded wash as a backdrop during a meal and then later in the evening set to colour scroll, or even change to the beat of the music. Imagine the walls and ceiling all colour changing in time with the music!
